RelayDeck privacy
Effective August 1, 2026
Identity and devices
RelayDeck uses Google identity to create or reopen an account and stores Google's stable account identifier, verified email, optional profile name and image, approved device public keys, and device activity. RelayDeck does not receive or store your Google password. Android private keys remain in Android Keystore.
Uploaded content and conversion
RelayDeck handles uploaded presentations, documents, images, video, and audio to create display-ready assets. Files are signature-checked, malware-scanned, and processed by bounded conversion tools. The original upload is deleted only after a usable normalized version and manifest have been verified. Failed and temporary uploads are removed by cleanup jobs.
Storage, archive, and retention
Prepared assets begin on the active presentation server and may move after several days to access-controlled archive storage. Retention depends on the account plan and is measured after last successful use, up to 90 days for current candidate paid plans. Immediate content deletion removes hot and archive copies. Operational backups are not used to restore deleted presentation content.
Presentation delivery
Presentation sessions, receiver liveness, commands, and acknowledgements are processed to keep the phone and TV synchronized. Receiver join codes are single-use and short-lived. Receiver credentials remain in memory and are not placed in content URLs, logs, or durable browser storage.
Usage, diagnostics, and billing
RelayDeck records processing bytes, retained storage, conversion and restore outcomes, receiver reliability, and sanitized diagnostic codes. If paid plans are enabled, Google Play supplies purchase state and RelayDeck stores hashed purchase/order references and entitlement status; payment card details are handled by Google Play, not RelayDeck.
Public webpages
RelayDeck accepts only compatible public HTTPS webpages. It does not proxy pages or support authenticated/private-network browsing. The destination may receive normal browser network information when shown on the receiver.
Sharing and service providers
RelayDeck does not sell personal data or use advertising trackers. Google identity, Google Cast, Google Play if billing is enabled, Cloudflare delivery, and privately operated server/archive infrastructure process the limited data needed to provide and secure the service.
Deletion and export
Content can be deleted immediately in the controller. Account deletion can be requested and tracked in the app or at relay.signaldeck.net/account-deletion; a pending request can be canceled during its seven-day grace period. After processing begins, owned presentation data, devices, sessions, and account identity are removed. Limited fraud, security, tax, dispute, or legal records may be retained only as required. Account metadata export is available in the app.
